I have a 5 month old german shep pup, she seemd to bark alot at certain people. I have watched the vids on barking and they seem to talk alot about ignoring your dog for the first 5 min or so when you first come into the house or fisrt meetings with your dog to help establish alfa. I injoy our first meeting she is exicted to see me and calms down after our greeting, is this necessary with the 5 month old becaus I do injoy our first meetings.
She listens well , sits with a hand command and down also and much more. I feel I do have the alfa roll with her. I am worlking with redirecting her when she starts to bark and treating after shes quite I am also socializing as much as possible. Thanks
