Hi,Our dog "Inga" is jack russell, mountain fiest, and shiba inu mix. She is 6 months old has been spayed. She is and outside dog and she has Dogwatch fencing system in place. When my wife goes out and sets on the porch Inga will come over and crawl in your lap and be petted only on her terms, then goes into biting. If you try to correct her she takes revenge bites all the harder. Also she jumps up on while you are walking and bites your hand or has torn many of our clothes with her teeth. We have started the 48hr treatment, and are in24hrs at present things are'nt getting any better.
Please help

At 6 months, she is at the right stage for teething so it feels good to put her mouth on everything, including you. I would teach her "NO mouth!" anytime she starts to put her mouth on you. You may want to try to spray her in the mouth with "bitter apple" or lemon water spray to get your point across more clearly. Be stern when you say "NO mouth!" If she nips you, cry out LOUDLY to let her know it hurts. This is what other dogs would do. Keep some yummy treats on the porch and when she is allowing your wife to pet her without biting, perhaps she could offer the dog a treat. Do this yourself if she comes to you and allows you to stroke her without putting her mouth on you. Be sure to offer lots and lots of chew bones and toys at this age. If she is really mouthing a lot, pick up a chew bone and give it to her instead with a "good dog". That way she will learn what is appropriate.

Hope that helps, good luck.
