My new puppy wont leave my older dog alone

We brought home a new puppy 3 weeks ago. She is a 3 month old Bullmastiff. We already have an 8yr old Boxer (female) and a 3yr old American Eskimo (male). She gets along fine with the Boxer but she is constantly chasing after
the American Eskimo. She nips at him, chases him and takes his toys. Everything I've read says to let them work it out but she's relentless and my American Eskimo seems miserable. How long should I let this go on? And should I interfere?

Man that sounds like a houseful!!

They will eventually sort it out, your American Eskimo will put the puppy in its place sooner or later. What you can do to help would be to squirt the puppy with water everytime she goes to attack him. Keep giving your American Eskimo a lot of attention, more in fact than the puppy, this will reassure him of his place in the heirarchy. Give your Eskimo free time away from the pup as well by putting puppy ina crate or outside. This will let him have time to breath. It may take some time but trust me they will sort it out...
I'm glad that the boxer and the puppy get on well, at least thats one relationship you don't have to worry about
