My wife and I have a 7 year old Pug. He is the best and cutest dog in the world. He is not alone in the house, we also have a 2 year old English bulldog and they get along great. Our problem is that my pug has been doing the number two in the house lately and this is not like him. I take him out constantly and he goes when he has to outside. My wife has been deployed for about 11 months and will be returning in less than 30 days. he has been good up until about 30 days ago. Then he has started doing his duty in the house. I don't understand why he does this. Is he missing her and leting me know so, or could it be something else? Help!!!
Hi, I think it may very well be down to your wife being away. Have you ruled out all other possibilities...illness, incontinence etc (please don't panic lol). Dogs like routine and if something has changed at home this may be his way of letting you know he's upset about it.
