I have had my puppy, Ginger, for two monhs and she is six months old. I have been training her, but she will not stop jumping on the two-year-old my mom babysits. Ginger has play-bitten the kid. She continues to jump on and knock the kid down. It has gotten so bad that sometimes I have to confine her to her cage. What do I do? How Do I stop the jumping.

Also, Ginger wants to chew on everything. She has plenty of chew toys and I play with her often. But she still insists on chewing everything in sight.
What do I Do?

Hi there,
this is serious, because your puppy seriously wants to play and seriously has to stop doing it this way.
She is still a baby herself and perhaps things that the 2 year old is a great companion to play with.
She has to learn to play with the baby in an acceptable way otherwise she has to be out into time out.
I don't know what breed she is, but no matter how big or small she is she needs to know her limits.
Have her on a leahs next time she is around the baby and if she tries to jump up give her a short and not too shapr pull on the leash. Say "no" in a very firm voice. If she ties it again grap her and put her in the bathroom or any other room that is safe for her, but at the same time boring and away from all the action.
Let her out once she has calmed down and repeat this procedure until she learns that she has to stop jumping up on the baby.

You can also try to distract her with a toy when she approaches the baby.
