Yorkie who marks his bed every day...

I have 3 Yorkies. All neutered males - about 5 lbs who love each other and play nicely together, sleep together, eat together. They are 10 years old, 11 years old and 15 years old.

The 11 year old Yorkie marks his bed and the beds of his brothers several times a day every day and has for all of his life. I make a distracting noise if I see him getting ready to lift his leg. But he does this tinkling of just a few drops, several times a day, right next to all of the dog beds, and other areas in the house. Every day. It is not that he HAS to pee. I have taken him outside, he has urinated and when he comes back in, he sniffs all the beds and marks each with a few drops.

Why does he do this? The others don't. How do I end it? If there is a way, I have never found it.

hi mfaughner, and thanks for your post.
I was just wondering before we look at a solution whether i could get a little more information. Is the dog that is marking the dominant dog of the pack? For example does he tend to eat bones or treats or food first or will the other give up their toys etc to him?
